VOICES is the volunteer booster group for Moorpark High
School’s Performing Arts Programs.
The purpose and commitment of the VOICES group is to provide support and organize fund raising efforts to fund costumes, music, new equipment, supplies, maintenance, publicity and other necessary expenses to make the Performing Arts Programs at Moorpark High School successful.
We’re the ones who sell the tickets and refreshments at performances of the Chorus and Musical Show Production as well as the High School Fall Play and Spring Musical. We also sell videos of these shows. One hundred percent of the money raised through these and other efforts goes directly back to Moorpark High School Vocal and Performing Arts.
One of the more rewarding aspects of VOICES is providing graduating seniors with college scholarships. In Spring 2008, five graduating seniors with vocal and performing arts experience were granted college scholarships.
Can you give VOICES some help? It doesn’t require a large time commitment. The more people who can help out, the less work we’ll each have to do. We are a low stress group and respectful of your busy schedule. We have fun while doing gratifying work. It doesn’t get any better than that.
